Founder

Yesenia Munoz, known as Jenny, is an Art Historian, writer, and the founder of The Nomad Salon—an independent art advisory based in London. Originally from California, her background in both Fine Art and Finance enables her to guide clients through the complexities of the art world, offering expertise in sourcing artwork and providing informed insights into collecting and the contemporary art market.

Before founding The Nomad Salon, Jenny worked as a financial analyst at a wealth management firm in San Francisco. Her passion for art inspired extensive global travel, visiting artist studios and cultivating a broad international network of artists and dealers. This journey led her to London, where she earned a Master’s degree in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from California State University, Stanislaus, an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from San Francisco State University, and professional training in Art Advisory from One Art Nation.

Through The Nomad Salon, Jenny offers bespoke art sourcing services while publishing editorial content—ranging from artist interviews to features and market commentary—designed to make the art world more transparent, accessible, and engaging. Her mission is to champion emerging talent and help collectors discover original works with clarity and confidence.
